In May 2010 Simone is recording a new CD for
the Japanese label Venus Records together with Aaron Heick (fl), John
di Martino (p), James Genus (b), Paul Meyers (guit), Steve Croon
(perc), Lou Marini (fl, sax) and Alvin Atckinson (dr) at Avatar
Studios, New York.
Simone has just returned from a successful
Thailand tour promoting her latest album „Didn´t
you say”.

In July 04 Simone was invited to join the Jazz Aspen Snowmass Band Edition where she had the opportunity to work with jazz greats such as Christian Mc Bride, Benny Green, Russell Malone, Carl Allen, Eddie Palmieri ...
In April 2004, Simone was recording
her newest CD at the Avatar Studio in New York with Eric Alexander,
George Mraz, John di Martino and Tim Horner for the Spanish
record label „LOLA“.

The CD „Moonlight Serenade“ was reviewed in Japan and received a rating of
four out of five stars.
Simone Kopmajer received the New York
Scholarship in the context of the "Hans
Koller Prize 2003".
Jury: "Her world is
the (new) interpretation of the Great American Songbook which she
already interprets in a serious, increasing and independent way.
CD Recording on the Japanese label Venus was completed in
July 2003 at the Avitar Studio in New York City.
